TenitTerms of Service
The rules for using Tenit
These terms cover Tenit's public beta experience: browsing recommendations, creating lists, vouching for picks, following people and topics, and sharing public pages.
Last updated May 15, 2026Agreement to these terms
By using Tenit, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Tenit may change these terms as the product evolves; the updated date above shows when they were last revised.
Using Tenit
Tenit lets you browse community recommendation topics, create ranked lists, publish or keep lists private, vouch for recommendations, upvote lists, save lists, follow users or topics, receive notifications, and share public recommendation pages.
You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You must provide accurate account information and use Tenit only if you are legally allowed to do so.
Your content
You keep ownership of content you add to Tenit, including lists, notes, links, images, profile information, topic suggestions, vouches, and other recommendations.
By adding content, you give Tenit permission to host, store, copy, display, format, rank, moderate, create previews from, and share that content as needed to run and improve the service. Public content can be viewed by others and may appear in search, feeds, rankings, profile pages, topic pages, and shared previews.
Content rules
You agree not to post, upload, link, or promote content that:
- Is illegal, deceptive, abusive, hateful, harassing, exploitative, or invasive of another person's privacy.
- Infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights.
- Contains malware, spam, scams, undisclosed paid manipulation, or attempts to artificially distort rankings.
- Includes private personal information, explicit sexual content involving minors, or instructions for serious harm.
Moderation and ranking
Tenit may review, hide, edit, merge, verify, reject, or remove topics, items, lists, links, images, profiles, and other content. Community rankings may change based on lists, vouches, upvotes, admin review, enrichment, duplicate cleanup, abuse prevention, and product experiments.
Tenit does not guarantee that rankings are accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your specific situation. Recommendations are human signals, not professional advice.
External services and links
Recommendations may link to third-party sites, apps, products, media, places, or services. Tenit does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their content, availability, purchases, policies, or actions.
What you cannot do
You must not misuse Tenit. This includes attempts to:
- Access accounts, APIs, admin tools, or data without permission.
- Scrape, crawl, copy, or resell Tenit data except as allowed by Tenit in writing.
- Interfere with the service, bypass limits, reverse engineer non-public systems, or test security without permission.
- Impersonate others, create misleading profiles, or coordinate fake engagement.
Beta service changes
Tenit is in public beta. Features, ranking systems, limits, categories, notifications, profile surfaces, APIs, and availability may change or stop at any time. We may add, remove, or change functionality while we learn what makes the recommendation graph useful.
Termination
You may stop using Tenit at any time. Tenit may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or restrict features if we believe these terms were violated, the service is being abused, or continued access could create risk for Tenit or others.
Disclaimers and limits
Tenit is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Tenit disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Tenit will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities.
