Delete your Tenit account

Open Tenit, go to your profile, tap the three-dot menu, and choose Delete account. Tenit will ask you to confirm before the deletion request is sent.

If you cannot access the app, email privacy@tenit.in from the email address on your Tenit account. Include your Tenit handle if you know it. We may ask for additional verification before deleting the account.

Account deletion removes or disassociates your Tenit profile and account data, including your email/auth mapping, handle, display name, profile photo, private lists, saved lists, follows, vouches, notifications, and other account-linked activity where deletion is technically and legally possible.

Some information may remain for a limited time in backups, security logs, abuse-prevention records, moderation history, aggregated ranking signals, cached share previews, or records we need to keep for legal, safety, or operational reasons. Public recommendations that other users have copied, shared, or interacted with may continue to appear without your account identity attached.

In-app deletion starts immediately when the request succeeds. Email requests are reviewed after verification. Backup and log deletion may take longer because those systems rotate on a separate retention schedule.
